But Giuliana and Bill Rancic seemed as happy as the day they said 'I do' as they celebrated their anniversary on Tuesday night.
The couple shared what they termed an 'epic anniversary dinner,' before tweeting commitments to one another.
Sharing a picture of them at their meal, Giuliana wrote: 'Epic anniversary dinner with an epic man.
'There aren't enough emojis to express how much I love u but I'll give it a try...❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE YOU FOREVER!
'You're my dream come true. Best 8 years of my life...to 100 more...I ❤️ u @billrancic.'
For his part Bill, 44, was feeling poetic, as he shared a quote from Walt Whitman.
'We were together, I forget the rest,' it read.
Bill, who won the first season of Donals Trump's The Apprentice, added: '8 great years together!! #truelove #gandb.'
Italian-American TV presenter Giuliana, 41, and Bill share a three-year-old son, Edward Duke Rancic.
The child was born via surrogate after Giuliana's diagnosis with breast cancer.
The couple have shared publicly their battle with infertility, with subsequent attempts to have a second child ending in failure.
They recently moved to Bill's home city of Chicago, following the end of their Style Network reality show Giuliana And Bill.
The end was made possible as Giuliana ended her 14 year run as the host of E! News on August 10.
She remains the host of Live from the Red Carpet and a panelist on Fashion Police, which returned to screens on Monday.
