MTV BASE NAMES OLAMIDE THE HOTTEST NIGERIAN ARTISTE FOR 2015 (SEE FULL LIST)

The panel on the MTV Base TV special #BaseNaijaHottestArtist have named rapper, Olamide as Hottest artiste in Nigeria for the year 2015 after two days of intense debate.

2015 has seen Olamide release several singles that topped the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten for many weeks, in addition to his successful promotion of protégé, Lil Kesh, and the recent surprise release of his fifth studio album, ‘Eyan Mayweather’ which has been topping charts.

On the panel that ranked ten of the hottest artists in Nigeria for the year 2015 were, OAPs Omalicha, Do2dtun and Sade Ladipo. Joining the trio were showbiz entrepreneur Olisa Adibua, entertainment journalist Osagie Alonge, DJ Spinall and VJ Ehiz.

THE DAY POLICE MISTOOK US FOR MINORS IN ITALY - AKI & PAWPAW

Aki and Paw Paw might be well known in Nigeria and ofcourse known as adults, but outside the country the story is not the same. The duo recalled when they had a show in Italy and the show’s promoter had come to the airport to pick them with Julius Agwu. On their way to the hotel, they were stopped by Italian policemen who threatened to arrest the show promoter for carrying babies without their car seats. According to them, every explanation fell on deaf ears that they were adults and not toddlers, but when the policemen would not believe them, they were forced to present their international passports to clarify the issue.

Aki said, Julius has been using the incident to entertain people ever since then, but a lot of people always think he made it up.

15-YR-OLD GIRL SURVIVES BEING 'KIDNAPPED, RAPED, SHOT TWICE THEN THROWN INTO A DEEP WELL'

A teenage girl survived being raped for a fortnight, shot twice in the chest and thrown down a 30ft well .She now survived to bring her attackers to justice.
The 15-year-old, known only as Poonam (not her real name), was left for dead inside the well, but managed to raise the alarm and ensure her attackers were arrested,Times of India reports ...

She was bundled into a car by an acquaintance as she went to buy a SIM card on November 22 around 5pm.She was then taken from her West Delhi home to an isolated farmhouse near Salempur Gurjar village.
Her three attackers, two of them minors, kept her for a fortnight and raped her every time they brought her food, police the girl told police.

Wizkid has achieved a new feat as popular US Magazine,Fader has ranked his song Ojuelegba remix with Drake and Skepta as the 12th biggest song of the year 2015.
His song was among a list of 107 put together by the magazine.This list includes world famous songs like Hotline Bling by collaborator, Drake with the number one spot going to Justin Bieber's "Where are you now"

A man caused a major train scare after his umbrella was mistaken for a sword. Police stormed the packed train at Deptford station in South-East London after passengers raised the alarm, believing that Ray Brown’s umbrella was a weapon.

But they soon realized that the item belonging to the 22-year-old was harmless, and the train was allowed to continue on its journey on Monday morning.

Babatunde Omoyeni, a web designer who planned to spend his Christmas and New Year celebrations in the United States of America, has been killed in Lagos over N50.He was to travel on December 10.
After obtaining all travel documents, the 38-year-old decided to go clubbing with his friends on Saturday.

He was returning when he had a disagreement with a bus conductor over the N50 fare and was stabbed to death.

Punch Metro learnt from a police source that angry residents almost lynched the conductor, who was identified as Samson Eletu.

I just want to seek blog readers opinion on an issue. There is this girl I dated for 5yrs, we loved ourselves so much, at a point in our relationship I traveled out of the country. I was so surprised that why would she do such but later I found out that she was already 2months pregnant as at that time and that she was to get married soon. Firstly I was angry that why would she make me have sex with her when she is carrying another man's pregnancy but she apologized and later explained to me that she was planning to abort the baby and stop the marriage and explained how her mum & sister forced the man on her claiming I wasn't coming back for her but I kicked against it and encouraged her to carry on with her marriage. Now after almost 2yrs of her marriage blessed with a son, she still constantly have sex with me. She get angry whenever she calls and I let her know am hanging out with a female friend , she doesn't want me to have a relationship. Always condemning every girl I date, she gets mad even when I refer to her as my ex. JONATHAN WAS INEXPERIENCED, NOT INCOMPETENT - IBB

Former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, has disagreed with critics of former President Goodluck Jonathan who described him as incompetent. The retired general instead says Jonathan was rather “inexperienced” rather than “incompetent.”
