DRAKE & FUTURE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE THEIR JOINT ALBUM, REVEAL ARTWORK & RELEASE DATE

After a solid week of fake tracklists, artworks, back-and-forth trolling on social media, and widespread speculation, we now know whether or not Drake and Future–arguably the two hottest rappers of 2015–will team up for a joint project.

The answer is yes.

Last night during his performance at the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta, Drake announced that  that he and Future would be coming together for a mixtape, and that Sunday would be “madness.” Well, it’s official, via Drake’s Instagram. Drizzy and Hendrix will release What A Time To Be Alive on Sunday, Sept. 20, on Apple Music. OVO Sound Radio, which would normally air every other Saturday–an episode was expected today–has been delayed until tomorrow to coincide with the project’s release.
