Reportedly Bow Wow, who was signed to the popular Cash Money Records until earlier this year, has officially joined forces with Sean “Puffy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records roster (French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly and more). As part of the new deal, James Cruz’s managerial wing at the label will represent the rapper turned actor.
It’s unclear if Bow Wow plans to release a new full-length album in early 2016. However, if he’s able to procure the popularity level he had in the early 2000s, it will be a great return on investment for the label, and a great of self-achievement. Before this announcement, the unfortunate news about his rumored split with fiancée Erica Mena spread like wildfire. According to Wendy Williams on The Wendy Williams Show,
“…he said something horrible about her on social media, talking about he made her. Like, you see who she is now ‘That’s my work.’ Like he’s a pimp and she can’t do for herself.”
Allegedly, a miscarriage is the reason behind the breakup. Allegedly, Erica Mena had a miscarriage when she was four months pregnant. According to multiple reports, Mena shared details about the miscarriage on social media. As a result, she was accused of “attention seeking”.
