The rapper, in an interview with Ghana’s Hitz FM said the club contacted him to sign a contract which he accepted.
‘I like Chelsea because they give me money to support them’, he said.
According to Sarkodie, the deal was accepted because he believed it was going to be a better deal for his brand. It ends in 2016.
‘The contract will be ending next year but we are hoping to renew it’, he added.
