The 35-year-old, who spent $100,000 to look like the singer, was reported missing earlier this week after he was last seen in West Hollywood on August 8.
Toby's body was found in a Motel 6 in the San Fernando Valley on August 21, reports TMZ.
The website claims drugs were found in the room, though it’s unclear how he died.
His spokesperson confirmed the sad news to Mirror Celebs, saying: "I am beyond devastated to have heard the news about Tobias. Tobias was a kind, caring, and gentle soul that was dedicated and passionate to his music and career.
