The November Records boss described the single as a departure from the norm regarding songs with meaningless content and weak process of composition.
‘The song is a beautiful composition with simple melodies steeped in our highlife roots with a tinge of a neo – urban flavour to it which makes it appeal to both the old and new generation,’ Charles Novia wrote in his latest article titled ‘Simi and the Jamb Question.’
The Alan Poza producer, who is well known for speaking his mind through his writings and social media post, also commended Falz who was featured in the song as well as the producer of the single. About the single, he said: ‘It’s a good break out by the young lady to the music scene and while I have my suspicions that the song might not be much of a monster hit on the club circuits because of the lopsided Nigerian youth kind of musical appreciation, it certainly would be a cool classic for years to come.’
