2FACE IDIBIA REVEALS ANNIVERSARY PLANS FOR LATE FATHER

On Saturday August 23, 2014, 2face idibia lost his father, late Micheal Idibia after a protracted battle with prostrate cancer. The late patriarch of the Idibia family, who hailed from Okpokwu Idumoga in the Idoma extraction of Benue State, died at 68 and was buried on November 7, 2014.

With the 1-year remembrance just a few days away, 2face, who recently unveiled #Fortyfied in celebration of his forthcoming 40th birthday, has exclusively revealed to NET how the family will remember his late father.

According to the ‘Let somebody love you’ singer, ‘My dad’s anniversary is coming up on August 23, 2015 and me and my family will come together and observe a very quiet remembrance for him in Benue state. It’ll be something very short, simple and without any fanfair or noise. It’s just an avenue for us to go and talk to him quietly.’
