Portuguese national and 3-time World footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 500th career goal.
Real Madrid’s last night away win against Malmo was monumental in several ways for the Spanish giants as Cristiano Ronaldo netted his 321st and 322nd goals for the club making it to the club of footballers who have scored 500 goals in their career.
Ronaldo who started his career in his native Portuguese’ Sporting Lisbon scored five goals for the club before moving in with EPL leaders, Manchester United under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson. At the Old Trafford, he scored a total of 118 goals before moving to Real Madrid on a world record fee of 94 million Euros. He has also scored a total of 55 goals for Portugal making him the country’s highest goal scorer.
Last night, Ronaldo also leveled up with Raul’s Madrid goal record while joining the likes of the legendary Pele, Ferenc Puskas, Gerd Muller, and Alfredo Di Stefano on the list of those who have scored 500 goals in their career.
