MAN RUNS ON WATER FOR 125 METERS, SETS NEW WORLD RECORD (WATCH VIDEO)

This amazing video shows a monk breaking the world record for running on water - managing an incredible 125 metres.

Shi Liliang, a member of the Buddist Quanzhou Shaolin Temple, tried three times to break the previous record of 120 metres, which he set back in January.

Crowds of people gathered to watch the monk attempt the challenge, set up with 200 floating plywood planks on a reservoir in New Delhi on August 29.

Shi then had to run across each flimsy board in a straight line in his attempt to reach the other side of the lake - and managed a record-breaking 125 metres. Watch video below
