Chris Brown is known for his fancy footwork, impressing audiences with his dance performances as much as his music.

But on Sunday it seemed the 26-year-old didn't quite dress the part, and his skintight jeans couldn't accommodate the dancer's strenuous routine.

It resulted in an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction for the star, as while he was breaking it down to Hit The Quan during his show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, his jeans split right down the crotch.

Chris - who paired his too-tight jeans with a fitted black T-shirt and green baseball cap - was dancing along to friend iHeart Memphis's single, as the dance moves proved too much for his jeans.

He came back out and addressed the mishap, joking - as he pulled up his new pair of jeans - 'I got another pair - hopefully these motherfucker won't rip.'
