Arsene Wenger recently revealed he expects to make another signing before the transfer window closes on September 1 with Arsenal making a goalscorer their priority.
Benzema was an option for the Barclays Premier League club but the 27-year-old took to Twitter on Monday to pledge his future to the La Liga giants.
Alongside a photograph of himself in the Madrid dressing room, Benzema wrote: ‘For all those clowns who want to make believe things at my fans. Here this is my home! [sic]’
Benzema returned to training with Madrid on Monday morning after recovering from a thigh injury which kept him out of their season-opening 0-0 draw against newly-promoted Sporting Gijon.
